Artist's Comments

A collection of some of my favorite artwork or Dali. Used Prismacolor Markers, colored pencils, pen & ink, and Prismacolor colored pencils. Not very happy with the way the brown floor turned out. I can still see the marker strokes underneath. Bugs the shit outta me, to be honest. I kinda liked the stipling I did on some of the objects, though....

Nice job. Especially on the fish and the tiger and the clock.

Yeah, I think it would make a great painting, especially since you did it three years ago, you must be better now. It'd be like... a short appreciation of Dali.

I love the part from flight of a bee around a pomegranate! Actually, I love the whole thing! It's magnificent.

It's very creative (Wow that was a dull comment). I love your attention to detail and how some of the images are a little twisted. I don't recognize all the allusions (can this literary term be used for art?) you are making, but that doesn't affect that overall it is a nice piece.

The floor strokes are noticeable but in my book, you get away with it. :D

lol, awesome!!! Dali has to be my all-time fav when it comes to painters (and not just cuz I like to chase my friend--who happens to be a little, straight-laced shall we say?--around the library with them :P) And you put in SOFT-SELF-PORTRAIT!!! :boogie::w00t::boogie::w00t::boogie:

It's neat how you balanced the colors from front to back with the walls, the front ones cool with warm accents and the back ones reverse.

wow, :+favlove: :)

nice job :D
i'm a huge fan of Dali, and this is all quite good.. i've never really gotten anything good out of markers and coloured pencils, so i enjoy seeing them used so well, especially for Dali
especially like the Tiger, and the bit of his face in the back
